Synopsis
Arab Spring forces Tunisian Nazir to flee to Europe, and he marries with Dutch hairdresser Kimmy in order to be able to stay there, but his adventure ends at Lampedusa where he was imprisoned because of being an illegal immigrant. The movie focuses on two lovers who are ready to give up everything to be together again because of their son Rafaël’s birth. Inspired from the real events, Rafaël is a moving story about borders, dreams, red tape that trumps love and prison walls.
