Cristi Puiu, The director of Aurora and The Death of Mr. Lazarescu, is a leading figure of Romanian cinema, and he will meet cinema lovers at a master class as part of the International Migration Films Festival. Puiu won the Best Director award in the Encounters section of the 2020 Berlin Film Festival with his latest film, “Malmkrog.”

Oscar winner Danis Tanović, the director and writer of “No Mans Land”, “Triage” and “L’enfer” among others, will share his experiences at a workshop at the International Migration Films Festival. Tanović has been awarded at many festivals including Cannes and Berlinale.

Michel Franco
June 19, Friday, 7 p.m.
Michel Franco, the director and writer of “After Lucia” and “Chronic”, will offer a master class within the scope of the festival. Awarded from film festivals like San Sebastian, Franco was granted the Un Certain Regard Jury Prize at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival for his ‘April’s Daughter.”

Emir Hadzihafizbegovic, one of the leading actors from the Balkans, will hold a masterclass titled ‘Constructing A Character And Acting In Front Of Cameras’ as part of the International Migration Film Festival.
